1973 Land Rover Series 3 III 88" 2.25l gas, hard top, 4spd manual with OVERDRIVE. All original North American model. This Rover has been in California since at least the early 90's and may have been sold new in CA. Rust free, no body damage. Diamond plate rocker protection and fender tops. galvanized full roof rack. Includes new rear half door and hinges if you want to remove the top or convert to a soft top. Front doors have aftermarket aluminum framed windows. Original 2.25L gas engine starts right up and runs good. It has been out of registration for ten years and parked under cover all that time. Shows 50K on the clock, so probably 150K, but could be 50K. It has just been gone through by a processional mechanic and has the following NEW components. Fuel tank, fuel sender, filler tube, fuel pump, fuel filters, gas cap seal, belt, radiator hoses, NEW optima red top battery, clutch slave cylinder, master cylinder, four slave cylinders, all new pads and drums, all new fluids, ignition switch. This is about $1500 worth of new parts and over $3K in labor done. This Landy is also fitted with parbolic springs. What it needs: Tires of your choice. Wiper blades. Some wiring clean up and a bit of TLC. This Rover has good bones and a TON of potential for whatever you want to do. Smog exempt with a clean California title.
