Description of 1989 Land Rover Defender 2-Door 4WD

Up for auction is my extremely clean LHD 1989 Land Rover Defender PJ1 with 92,000 original miles (148,000 Km). Importedfrom Italy a couple years ago where it belonged to a hotel owner who drove it up and down the Amalfi Coast to and from his hotels. (He had two other D90's he imported of which I had my pick and this one was the cleanest).
My rover is 100% original and in beautiful shape with ZERO RUST! 2.5 liter diesel engine that cruises down the highway at 70mph all day with a 5 speed gearbox, full time 4x4 with locking hi/low differential. Currently there is a lock box in-between the front seats but I have the third seat (middle/matching) included with purchase which is easily swapped. There are cage bars that divides the front from the rear cab. There is also a full-size fifth/spare wheel with matching BF Goodrich Tire and original wheel. Truck also features original LR folding steps on all three doors. Truck runs like a top, wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere. Starts right up every time- drives, shifts, and brakes perfectly. Clean, clear Arizona title in hand.Can also assist with reasonable trusted shipping since my neighbor owns a transport company.
Brand new tires, new fuel tank, new brakes, newish battery and wipers.
Since I've owned the rover, I've had people approach me from all walks of life to ask about it or to try and buy it from me. It's a superb vehicle in all ways. The torque is unmatched and the lack of electronics allows for a pure driving experience and the perfect bug out vehicle (EMP proof haha).
There are plenty of imperfections with a few noticeable poorly fixed scratches on the passenger door area. I love the character of this car and all that goes with it. I know you will too. This is a great chance to own a rare and super solid and straight example of the ultimate off road vehicle. I'm truly not that motivated to sell, so please don't waste my time unless you are a serious buyer.
