Up for bids and sold to the highest bidder is this 1963 Land Rover A2. Runs, shifts and drives. The engine runs very well. Starts right up and sounds great with no unusual sounds, leaks or smoke. The engine is from a newer Rover of unknown year. Has aftermarket intake and Weber carburetor. Electronic ignition. New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. GM alternator. New radiator hoses and heater hoses. New electric fuel pump. New gas tank with new fuel lines. Drives like a typical old, original British vehicle with play in the steering. The entire braking system has been gone through. New master cylinder, stainless brake lines, shoes and wheel cylinders. New battery. Tires are old. Exhaust is newer and sounds quiet. The interior is original and needs restored as seen. The speedometer works and shows 57k miles. Clear Ohio title in my name states actual miles but unknown if accurate. The oil pressure gauge works but the other gauges do not work. The body appears fairly straight. Original color was green but currently painted orange as seen. Underneath is intact with only rust in front floors. Not completely rusted away. Someone has cut metal which appears laid over the original. Though the Rover does run and drive it is a project. Prior to my acquisition the vehicle was off the road for many years. Overall a good candidate for restoration. ALSO INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL NON RUNNINGENGINE AND ASSOCIATED PARTS. Email with questions. Buyer responsible for shipping. $500.00 deposit due within 5 days and full balance due within 10 days. Can be seen and or picked up at my commercial location 45410 in downtown Dayton, Ohio. I can store for up to 60 days with full payment received within allotted time.
