Fully restored 1985 Land Rover Defender 110 with new Cummins R2.8 Turbo Diesel engine and 4 speed transmission and just 14,464 miles.

The seller was told the vehicle was originally sourced from Switzerland where it served as a support vehicle for a local fire department. Prior to purchase, the vehicle was restored by Outland Motors in Bend, Oregon, save for the engine and transmission. Body work included painting the vehicle Portofino Red (the vehicle was previously a lighter shade of red). The seller acquired the vehicle from Park Place Motors in Bellevue, Washington in 2020. In 2021, the engine was replaced with a brand new crate engine, a Cummins R2.8 Turbo Diesel and transmission, by British 4x4 in Reno, Nevada. Air conditioning was also installed and brakes were upgraded. Cruise control was installed. Approximately 8,000 miles have been added since the engine swap. This vehicle is in amazing shape and has been meticulously cared for. Many features have been added under current ownership including a Front Runner Slim Line II roof rack, light bar, rear work light, Defender seat box corner protectors, Defender cargo door protector.
