Description of 1977 Lincoln Mark Series Mark 5 Cartier MKV Bill Blass

77 Lincoln Mark V Up for Auction With NO RESERVE

61K original miles, 60 V8. Rare color combination with tan paint and vinyl two tone leather interior. Options include 460 V8, ower vent windows, m/fm 8-track, eather dual power bench seat, added vinyl quarter roof, ower moonroof with shade, miles to empty" readout, olor codedaluminum"turbine" wheels, ual mirrors, ilt steering wheel and remote trunk release.

Mechanical: Most recent work includesbrakes, ot cruise control working, ixed the headlight doors (which would open after the engine was turned off, ow they stay closed even if parked for weeks) and replaced the headlight brights foot switch. The a/c has been retrofitted to modern freon and blows nice and cold.Everything works as it should; the power window motors including power vent windows are quick and easy and the power moonroof opens and closes with the push of a button, oth power seats work perfectly in all directions. The moonroof does not leak at all, ven in heavy rain or a car wash. The moonroof is huge, lmost feels like a convertible when you've got it fully open. When you're on the highway with the windows up you can't hear any road noise, t's nice and quiet inside.

Cosmetics: The Lincoln has original paint that's a "ten-footer". All the body lines are straight and everything lines up properly. The interior is good driver condition, he leather does not even show wear on the driver's seat. This is due to the low mileage; the Lincoln has only 61k on the odometer and my mechanic told me he could easily see this being anoriginal61k car. The dash, oor panels, arpet, eadliner, isors and moonroof shade are close to perfect. The underside including trunk, loors and frame are rock solid. I was told by the previous owner that there was some light body fill at the edges of the hood and behind the driver's wheel. No metal work, ust odd random places where the metal needed attention. All the other common spots for corrosion on these cars is solid; where the vinyl top meets the rear quarter, he wheel wells, he floors and trunk, rame, tc. The vinyl top looks ok in the photos but needs replacing, t's cracking and beginning to peel in spots. The body is very straight, ever hit, he doors close easily (the last Mark V I had required a really hard slam or the doors would only partly latch) and the chrome is good, o dents or peeling anywhere. Passenger front clear lens (at corner of fender) with Lincoln logo is cracked. Everything lines up perfectly, hich is important on a car with such straight and angular body lines. This is a cosmetically driver quality car that can be fixed up as it is driven.

Powerful, mooth 460 V8 is a pleasure, he difference between the 400 and the 460 is substantial. Always starts easily, ruises nicely on the highway and brakes evenly with the four wheel disc brakes. She starts on the first try even in cold weather, dles perfectly and the suspension is luxurious. No leaks from anywhere, arage floor always dry when I pull her out.

I reserve the right to end the auction early as theLincolnis for sale locally and I'm open to reasonable buy it now offers as well.I can assist with shipping in the USA or internationally if necessary, ost of shipping to paid by buyer. If you need it I can recommend a door to door auto shipper I've used many times in the past; they're professional, eliable and have great rates.

Classic Lincoln Mark V, olid overall and a 70's luxury classic.
