Description of 1948 Lincoln Continental Continental

Offered for sale is my 1948 Lincoln Continental Coupe with 37,800 original miles. The original owner drove the car for 13 years and 27,400 miles, nd was then owned by a sequence of 5 car collectors who drove it an additional 10,000 miles. During this period the car was maintained, epaired and upgraded as necessary to offset the aging process.
The fifth owner did most of the restoring as necessary as well as replacement of worn parts, verhaul transmission, epaint, e-chrome. The sheet metal and paint are stunning. The upholstery is original and very presentable but not perfect. During this period the car upgraded to a level that it earned many awards including CCCA Senior Badge, incoln Continental Club Major National Award Winner, 014 Arizona Concours de Elegance third place winner. As the sixth owner I continued to make minor upgrades and maintenance as found necessary in driving the car. All of the gages, ights, adio, eater,and windshield wiper work properly, nd with the overdrive the car has no trouble keeping up with freeway traffic and does not overheat. Tires have very little wear and the steering and brakes are excellent. The engine compartment and undercarriage have both been restored, nd the wiring is new.
