one owner emerald green

Single owner Towncar. Purchased for my wife in May 1994 from the Lincoln dealer in Orlando, Florida. Since my wife passed away, the car has not been driven much. I would like to sell the car to someone who will enjoy it.

Most of its life this car rested in a garage every night. This is thecar we did not drive in the snow and it is now kept in Silver Spring, MD.

This towncar runs strong. Most miles are from highway driving. Recent work on brake lines (replaced), alternator (replaced). Car has not required any major repair work to the mechanical systems...just oil changes, tires, brake pads. Replaced rear air suspension bags eight years ago and air suspension pump too. Fresh paint seven years ago. Car looks great from 15 feet away, but when you get right up to the door and look hard you will see some parking lot dings. This car was never in a flood, never had hail damage, was never stolen.

My picture of the odometer is not up to date since the actual mileage is 145,000.

Known problems:

-power windows are sketchy (sometimes you have to "help" them up);

- battery is near end of life (if you let the car sit too long, you will need to jump start it);

-a/c blows cold, but I recharge the a/c system each spring so there may be a minor leak. One can of Freon in the spring does the trick.

-abs light just came on, but the car's stopping power is still excellent.
