This is a nice car to restore. It has spent most of its life in storage. I spent a day cleaning it and checking fluids after 30 years stored at my dads. It started, and drove, engine sounds good, transmission shifts like it should. The mufflers are very bad. The brakes will need to be redone. I had to pump them to make work. The top works great, I have a video and lots of pictures on the Timewarpedauto facebook page. The car is pretty much original with what looks like one repaint. It could use a new paint job, some cracking and chips here and there. The leather seats seem like they can be restored also. They are not crunchy and dont crack when I sit in the car. The seat color will need to be restored. The steering wheel is very nice. The original carpet and heal pad are pretty nice. The rubber seals and mouldings are in good condition. Cigarette lighters there. The trunk and package tray look to be rust free. The rockers, floors and trunk are solid. Door jambs are clean. The only rust area I can see is in the left front fender. The rest is surface rust. Study the pics, I took from all angles on a lift so there won't be any surprises. The drivers window works others no. The glass is nice including the windshield. Again, it runs and drives but will need to be gone over carefully before taking off down the road. The tires are dryrotted but holding air for now. It isnt to bad for a unrestored 55 year old classic. Odometer showing 48K miles, seems to be original based on the condition of the car. Ask and I will do my best to give accurate description. Clean title. More pictures available at TimeWarpedAuto.com/lincoln
