Description of 1994 Lincoln Town Car Signature

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1994 Lincoln Town Car Signature. I would rate the exterior of this old Town Car to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Tan with matching Tan leather interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about with this old Lincoln. The finish shines nicely for its age and looks smooth all around. All of the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. In fact, the worst I can say about the exterior is that there are a few small rust bubbles visible around the fenders, but I don't see any holes...it looks like just some bubbles at this point. There is a small crack in the windshield in the upper left corner. It is above the AS1 line and is completely contained so it is not likely to spread. However, please check your local laws to see what is required to pass inspection in your state as laws can differ from state to state. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this Town Car came in. I would rate the interior of this Town Car to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show a few marks from age but are not excessively worn. The leather seats are soft and comfortable throughout the interior. You can see where the previous owner used some small pieces of gold tape to remedy a few rips in the seat...but that's fair game for a 26 year old car, I suppose. The back two windows will both need new regulators but the front windows, along with the power door locks and mirrors, all work fine. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's too cold out to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but I can tell you that the heater works great! Being a Town Car, rear seat room is ample and passengers are treated to complete comfort. The trunk is huge, too, as you'd guess. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this old Lincoln came in. If you listen carefully, you can hear the incoherent ramblings of Matthew McConaughey in the background as you cruise down the road. Mechanically, this Lincoln appears to be all there. The 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. These cars have to be the most reliable, longest lasting cars ever made. The big V8 purrs quietly under the hood and runs perfectly smooth. Her road manners are good, for an old Town Car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. She lumbers effortlessly down the road, just like an old Lincoln should. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. These cars are born for the open highway, and can get highway fuel economy of nearly 30mpg if you drive them right. These are known to run 400k miles with just routine service...so 200k is just broken in. If you want a big highway cruiser for the price of a decent mountain bike, this old Town Car would love to have a talk with you. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
