1977 Lincoln Town Car Limousine

A limousine is typically a car driven by a chauffeur and has a privacy partition between the driver's seat and the rear seat(s). A stretch limousine is a car that has its midsection modified to create any number of interior configurations, and typically has a door on either side in the back of the car for multiple passenger access.

Let's get this party started!!! Jump in the back of this consignment and tell your driver to take you to the concert, bachelor or bachelorette par-tay or just out for a night of debauchery. Think of all the possibilities if you were the actual owner of a car that can seriously make you extra cash and provide some entertainment for your passengers. This is a 1977 Lincoln Continental Town Car stretch to the max party machine, all here in our Classic Auto Mall oversize showroom, which is reserved for only the unusual and mostly unknown specials...shhhhhhh keep it a secret till you get here.

Exterior
WYSWYG.. Long luxurious and all in Continental form we have straight sturdy structural steel bathed in tasty silver with a silver padded vinyl top. 2 count 'em, 2 opera lights frame the 2 count 'em, 2 additional tinted windows, and a rear door. Whata space, whata a dream, whata a nice car, whata money maker. All in nice condition, clear headlights, shiny grille, and mile long panels, this is one bitchin' ride.

Interior
Luxurious red leather makes up the seating of the drivers portion of the car. These seats are ultra padded and buttoned as well as tucked and rolled. A nicely appointed red dash front with wood appliqu, plenty of knobs and square and rectangle design stretched from door to door. Speaking of which are also ultra padded red velour, wood appliqu, and plenty of chromed and shiny buttons to play with. Retiring to the rear passenger portion of the car I had to do a double take as I thought I was in someone's living room! A large red padded velour rear bench faces dual red velour covered arm chair like seats which flank a wood side table. Within this table is a radio, small storage area, climate vents and a digital clock atop. Red carpeting floods all the floors and is slightly faded but clean. Above all is a red velour headliner. Plenty of room to romp around in, toast the town, or just arrive in Uber style. Look! A celebrity...lets see who gets out...oh it's just the Classic Auto Mall writer...never mind...Power steering, air conditioning, an AM/FM/Cassette the rollin' in stylin' never gives up, and is a list as long as its chassis.

Drivetrain
A 460ci V8 is under the long hood and this has to be fed by a single 4-barrel carburetor. On back is the C6 3-speed automatic with a Ford 9-inch 3.00 geared rear axle. Overall a nice patina with some dust is noted under this hood.

Undercarriage
Some invasive rust has taken over the rockers and areas of the floorpans. Other surfaces show chip off and underlying rust on them. The mufflers need to be replaced. Power disc brakes are on all 4 corners.

Drive-Ability
Those independent coil springs upfront, and the 4 link with coil sprung rear suspension allow this big car to float down the interstate. Driving is effortless; you just have to be mindful of the extra length, but this car maneuvers well with the power steering, and has plenty of power for merging and cruising. All the controls are operational, and you are ready for your first group of wild prom goers. Please note the undercarriage rust.

Nicely preserved from 1977, certainly a jump in and turn the key and go car, think of those long nights where the cash just piles up for you. Come into Classic Auto Mall and negotiate a dill-e-o, and you'll be off like a prom dress.
