1977 LOTUS ESPRIT S1

Please read entire add before bidding!! We are selling a Very Rare 1977 LotusEsprit S1. There were 580 of these cars made in 1977. This car was made in 4/77and was # 259H- see picture of ID plate. Vehicle identification number is: 77040259H.I have a clear PA title for the car. The car has 65,713 original miles on it!!It comes with a 907 Lotus motor and a 4 speed with overdrive transmission. The carhas always been garage kept and has never seen a winter.It was PA inspected till 6/30/2015. The car was running and driving fine earlier this year. The previous owner did an oil change and did not secure the oil filter properly. The oil leaked out and the engine spun a rod bearing(the engine has a knock when running). The engine was turned off as soon as the knock was noticed. A rod bearing set can be purchasedfor around $130.The driver side door hinge is sloppy and needs fixed, t closes fine.The interior is in good, sed condition(not perfect) see pictures. The body on the caris nice( the paint is starting to fade in spots).See pictures . The tires and rims are in really good condition.The cardoes show normal signs of ware but less than what you would expectfor a 41 year old car.
