Description of 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata Special Edition |
Selling a 1991 Special edition British Racing Green Mazda Miata with only 54,000 miles. There were less than 4,000 of these cars made so among Mazda enthusiasts, this is a very exciting opportunity. The car runs perfectly, smoothly and starts up immediately every time. For it's age, it's in really great condition with incredibly low milage. Regularly used as a top-down daily driver with zero problems. Exterior: The exterior overall is excellent. There is a chip in the paint behind the drivers side rear well (pictured), there are some minor dents along the body but nothing that immediately stands out. The paint is original and clean. There is a very small crack in the front bumper (explained below, picture above). Upon inspection, we are unable to find anyscratches along the paint. NO RUST. The Top: The top back plastic window has a tear (pictured above) and is cloudy. From the exterior, the black of the top in good condition (pictured above, the spots are from rain a few moments earlier, not stained), from the interior it does have some cosmetic damage. Worth replacing the plastic of the window, we only drove top down so it never bothered us. It also has the option to zip open so you could easily drive top up and see clearly through the back. Interior: The interior carpets could use a good shampooing and the seats could use a nice deep cleaning and conditioning. The leather is aged but nothing significant. This car has been kept original, no modifications have been made. A dash cover has been placed on it to protect the dash but is easily removed (just affixed with velcro). The main problems: There is no working AC in this car. We've used this as our top down fun car so we've never bothered to get it fixed. Unsure of what's wrong with it, could be something complex or could be something simple. There was no AC when webought the car. This has a REBUILT title due to a very minor accident. Because of the age of the car and the value (not taking into consideration it's collectors value or uniqueness of the vehicle), it was considered a total loss despite needing ZERO mechanical or body work after (as shown by carfax report). The only thing you can see from the accident is a small crack in the front bumper and the minor dents underneath where the front license plate originally was as pictured above. This car has been kept by the same family since its purchase as new in 1991. The only reason it's leaving the family is because we've got ababy on the way (not a practical baby car!) and no one else in thefamily can drive a manual. Happy bidding! Please feel free to contact with any questions, we'd be happy to provide the CarFax report. |
