1967 Mercedes-Benz 250S Sedan European Model. Listed for auction here is a pretty unique W108 chassis Mercedes Benz. This 1967 250S Sedan is actually a base European model (note the lack of up-right bumper guards). The vehicle has crank windows and is not equipped with Air Conditioning or a Radio, ust as it was originally. However it does have power brakes and power steering. Being an "S" and not an "SE" the vehicle actually utilizes dual Zenith Carburetors, ather than Bosch Mechanical Fuel Injection. The vehicle is highly original with original interior and what looks to be original paint and comes with detailed maintenance records from the original owner. The 250S was part of the Fred M. Kemp collection in St. Louis before the collection was put on display in 2005 and has remained part of the Fred M. Kemp Foundation ever since. This is a really fun car to drive, specially considering that it has a 4-speed manual transmission that is mounted through the center counsel and not on the column. That's right folks, his W108 has a "four on the floor" as the gear heads of yesteryear used to say. This is unique opportunity to own a a W108 chassis Benz with a great history and a couple rare features.
