1967 Mercedes 250s. Black with Original Red Interior. I bought this car a few years ago because it was a one-owner California car, with little or no rust and it had the original window sticker in a great color combo! It has lots of curb appeal. The original family owned it until 2015 when I bought it while living in Chicago from the original owner's daughter in Ohio. It is now with me in Weston Massachusetts just outside of Boston. I had it shipped out but don't really have any time/space for it anymore. While I was in Chicago I had the carbs professionally rebuilt, new brakes/rotors, lines, and new tires put on so I could attend Fuelfed events there (see receipt). Car runs and drives well. The engine bay is clean but also has some more recent spray on it. It has the optional A/C which turns on but I have never used and it doesn't blow cold. Recently, there is a new vacuum noise leak from brake booster but that doesn't appear to change its stopping ability at all but it is there. Car was repainted (not great) at some point but it shows well overall. There are various small dents around that can be easily pulled and there are no cracks/scrapes in paint. Chrome is in excellent condition with only one small area of rust on top of front bumper. There is no pitting/scratching in Chrome. The exterior of the car is in very good shape overall (except for small dents) and it is a great color combo. All power windows work but some of the buttons take a hard push. All gauges work. odometer turns and shows 150,350 original miles. All lights work. A new stereo is there but has never been hooked up. Other than the re-paint, the car is really in original condition but someone started to sand/restore the interior trim and it needs to be finished The interior is a cosmetic project that needs to be finished. It needs a new carpet kit, and all wood needs to be refinished but it is all there. Otherwise, the exterior and interior do show well. The interior seats are in good shape with only one small quarter sized tear on the back of the driver's side. It is barely noticeable. Again this is a solid, mechanically sound, fun to drive car that is mostly an interior project. Otherwise, it is a nice running/driving project car to finish.
