Hi, p for auction is this very rare 1984 Mercedes 300CD turbo diesel coupe.Overall this beautiful classic is in excellent condition and looks to be well taken care of. I have owned it for 6 months now and drive it 50 miles a day to work and back and has always proven to be comfortable and reliable. the odometer stopped working at 240,000 and I'm sure it has considerably more on it, ut the engine was overhauled about 3 years ago and a new tranny was installed at that same time. unfortunately I have no documentation of this, ut it is obvious by how clean they are and how fresh they look. The engine has tons of power and does not burn a drop of oil. The transmission shifts with authority and never hesitates or slips. The exterior and undercarriage are super solid with absolutely no rot to be found other than one tiny quarter sized hole in the passengers floorboard. the underneath is very clean and solid. It looks as though someone painted the exteriorit a while ago, nd it looks nice, or a driver, ut is certainly no show car. the passengers front fender is brand new, nd is properly installed, ust needs to be painted. The interior is very nice with only a few tiny tears in the drivers seat, ll leather is soft yet and still very comfortable. The only real problems with it is that the ac, ower sunroof, nd radio don't work. Other than that this car is super solid and reliable. Note in photos chrome trim is missing around the front windshield,this is because the windshield is cracked andthe previous owner started to replace it, ut gave up. When you come to get it, t will have a brand new windshield and gasket installed and the chrome trim will be on it. I am having it replaced on Tuesday.
