Original, nrestored, unning and driving 4 door sedan popularly referred to as an "Adenauer" after the first post-war chancellor of Germany who reputedly owned at least 6 of these models. Imported into California in the late '50s by an American serviceman, t was used by one prominent owner until his death in 1979. Since then, t has been sitting until recently professionally limbered up with new brakes and clutch, adiator and gas tank boiled out, ew belts, oses and filters, arbs and transmission rebuilt. Now everything works including the "Wunderbar" radio. Easy restoration or leave it alone and enjoy it as a no issues drivable "survivor."There are a few places with surface rust as would be expected in a 60 year old car, ven one having spent most of its life in southern California. Driver's floor and trunk floor are a bit flaky. There is some bubbling at the bottom of two of the doors. As a "survivor," don't worry about it. If a restoration is contemplated, ixing the rust would be a tiny fraction of the overall cost--nothing like the rust buckets that occasionally turn up in Europe and in the other parts of the US.Note the trailer hitch. Apparently the owner towed a small camping trailer and there is a log with notes on visits to various parks and camp sites. It also was fitted with a remote trailer brake which I removed when doing the brakes but it can be easily reinstalled if you are inclined to tow a vintage trailer. See the lever under the picture of the radio. Car is located in Vista, alifornia, orth San Diego County about a 6 hour drive or one hour flight from Phoenix. Come look, rive and pay cash, ashier's check or bank transfer. I can handle shipping anywhere in the world at buyer's expense.
