Description of 1967 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 230 |
1967 Mercedes Benz 200-series W110 chassis 230 "Heckflosse" Fintail A classic beauty. A six cylinder gas sedan with an automatic transmission. Only 40,000 of this body type were produced between 1966 and 1968. Finished with a gorgeous combination of Dark Green with a Tan interior. An original car with a solid undercarriage. Truly a survivor. There are no dents or dings present on the body. Slight dent present on the left side of the back bumper. It would easily cost in excess of $10,000 just to reproduce the quality of this original interior. There are no cracks present on this dash. All instrumentation in the dash is working and the factory original Blaupunkt radio is working. This 230 includes a rare and functioningair conditioning unit. Recently added Coco Mats. The car still has its original Owners Manuals. Recently tuned with a professional valve adjustment. New plugs, oil, and filter. Odometer shows 52,700 miles and is working. Original 13 inch steel wheels with hub caps painted to match the exterior color. A new genuine Mercedes Benz center drag link recently installed, along with new whitewall radial tires, and a professional alignment, has this 230 driving down the road straight and smooth. This is a very unique car, so if you have the winning bid and take it home, be prepared for lots of attention when you are driving the car down the road or just while you have it parked. If you are not sure about something, please ask. I have a clean title in hand. PLEASE ONLY BID WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY. The winning bidder must make contact within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 3 days of Auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours, I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Payment must be made either using cash (in person) or by bank wire transfer. PayPal is acceptable for the initial deposit. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. I am able to assist buyer with getting the vehicle loaded on to a transport for shipping. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, however. Thanks for bidding! |
