Description of 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

For sale is an exquisite example of Mercedes famous 300D. This car has covered 83. 81 miles since new and came equipped with a couple incredibly rare options. No. 1 LEATHER. not MB Tex. was fitted at the factory. the difference can be told by the way the seats are aging. The leather is soft and supple with light creases having developed over time. MB Tex does not crease like this. Leather is an incredibly rare option and this is the only one I have ever seen. NO. 2 HEATED SEATS. Though the car is completely without rust. and more than likely not originally a Minnesota car. somebody found a way to order heated seats. I have never heard of this option before. let alone seen it on a W123 chassis. There are 2 heat levels heating both the seat and the backrest and both seat heaters work excellentIt is in immaculate condition as evidenced by the photos. the carpet is without flaw or dirt. as is the chrome trim which when exposed to salt usually goes milky (backing up no winters). With a 1 week old service of the entire vehicle costing around $1600 as well as a brand new set of tires there is no expense aside from the purchase to incur. This car can be driven ANYWHERE with complete confidence. The paint appears to be original with NO rust. The dash is un-cracked and the wood is like new without the faintest crack anywhere. The spare has never touched the ground and the jack appears to have never been used. Even the trunk triangle is in place which is never the case. The best way to describe the car is "time capsule. "Comes with owners manuals as well. We at E. U. Autoworks work on. own. and drive a lot of vintage MB vehicles and this car excels in all ways. It feels like a new W123 chassis should. Starts right up with a flick of the key. shifts smooth and sharply. all original down to the radio and EVERYTHING works flawlessly. The sunroof is quiet and swift. the windows all quickly shoot up and down and the vacuum door locks all function perfectly. Things most other examples cannot claim truthfully. Even the tape deck on the radio still works excellent. There is no better W123 available(. ) If you miss it there will not be another like it. looking resplendent in Anthracite Grey on Palomino Leather. a better colour combination is difficult to imagine.
