This is without a doubt, one of the cleanest 560SL's you will find! Paint and body are in amazing shape, as well as the wheels and tires. The tan interior is also in great shape with the typical wear you would expect to see for a car of this age and mileage. It's registered as a historicvehiclein TX, and has been kept up extremely well. Having a great coat of paint, no rust, and a beautiful interior is fine...But what about mechanically?? Great news!! The car has had extensivemaintenanceand repairs done over the past 2 years, including: timing chain, fuel distributor, all injectors and cups, intake manifold reseal (including lambda meter boot) spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, complete fuel system refresh including, boiling the fuel tank and re-coating, tank pre-filter, fuel pumps, fuel filter, A/C compressor/drier/expansion valve, R134A retrofit (A/C is extremely cold, can't even use it on lowest setting because its too cold ;). New coolant bottle, air filter, and a bunch of old vacuum lines, and rubber fittings have also been replaced. Fresh oil change done last month. New brakes (pads and rotors) replaced last year and have about 90% life remaining. The starts RIGHT up, no long crank or hesitation as is common with many of these cars, idle is amazing and smooth when it's cold, and even better when it's warm. With the new fuel system, the throttle is super responsive, and honestly its like a new car! It also has had both front wheel speed sensors replaced. With all that being said, I have to share that there are some things that I had planned to do, but didn't get around to. Dropping the subframe was the next item... so the subframe bushings, upper/lower control arms, ball joints, engine mounts, and oil pan re-seal could be done. None of these items are critical or even that bad, I'm just the type of guy who just wants everything like new. So IF you are lucky enough to become the new owner, keep in mind that you could easily go years without doing any of those items, but if you wanted it mint, that's the remaining punch list :) The soft top is in AWESOME shape, and I take it out frequently to clean it, and just keep it all moving...All the joints/hinges/bushings are lubricated regularly with MB approved greases and lubricants. The windows are very slightly tinted, and both windows work perfectly. All lights work, power mirror (passenger) seats move smoothly. Instrument cluster bulbs were all replaced a year ago. Just has a FULL polish and sealant applied. The car has an integrated trickle charger, and an aftermarket radio. It comes with the original hard-top, and the stand for it. Just before the detail and polish, it was taken on a trip to East TX (over 1,100 miles round trip) without skipping a beat - It ran smooth and perfect the whole ride, and it couldn't have been better! Let me know if you have any questions, and good luck bidding! Thanks a lot for your interest! Forgot to mention - This car has ZERO RUST! It's lived it whole life in TX and CA. Thanks again :)
