You are bidding on a well cared for 1988 Mercedes-Benz 240GD G Wagon Convertible 4x4. After serving in the Danish military, this G Wagon was restored in Europe; new features include: new soft top, MB Gun Metal Silver exterior paint shop, frame and axle protection, MB Tex Leather Interior, complete powertrain inspection with new fluids throughout, new batteries, 5 All Terrain wheels and tires, added power steering, head lamp and turn signal guards and much more. The OEM 2.4 liter Diesel engine runs strong and, with just 74k original miles, is basically just broken in. The 2.4l diesel engine is known to run for over a million miles. The manual 4-speed transmission shifts smoothly; the brakes are powerful. Local Mercedes-Benz Dealer and G-Class Center inspected the car in Nov and attested "vehicle is in great shape".
