1978 450SL, 162k miles, Solid California car with straight panels. No major rust. Both tops (don't know what condition the soft top is in). Engine starts and runs good, transmission doesn't work and won't go into drive (just reverse). Needs a transmission (I found a used one local, for $450+install), Needs paint, radio, new seat covers and interior work. The solid body and good engine make it a great foundation for a project or a daily driver. I bought it as a project but am not able to work on it so I have to let it go. Car is at a mechanic shop in Laguna Beach and has to be towed away.Selling As-Is with a clean title.
