Description of 1972 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 250/8 Coupe, California Car |

The owner started to restore this car a few years back but do to some health issues wasnt able to finish it. So heres your opportunity to own this solid 1972 250 C. This is an original California car since new that has a 100% rust free body and chassis. There is no rust or repair, not one single spec. The body is beautiful and 100% solid. The paint finish has a brilliant shine and looks great! No dents. All the body side molding was also removed and put back on securely. The window trim and various other pieces (appears to be complete and are in the trunk). There is a windshield however it needs a new rubber seal. The fog lights and wrapped sunroof is also in the trunk (see pics). The sunroof will need one of the cables replaced or repaired, we have the original one. -All of the chrome and short bumpers are in great shape!-Tires are old, hubcaps look A+ The car starts right up and runs extremely well. There are no noticeable leaks and the car does not smoke or overheat. Owner stated the car drove well prior to him starting this project. We only drive it at low speeds outside our gate (no windshield installed) the car went into gear with no issue (forward and reverse) and drove well. We did not test anything other than the wipers and drivers window and they both worked fine. The air conditioning is not hooked up you can see the unhooked line from the a/c. The interior looks pretty complete and in decent original condition. The headliner will need to be redone and if you look at the pics you should be able to see everything that the interior needs, which is not much. Carpeting looks very good and is original. The dash has some cracks. We have the dash speaker cover (not shown in pictures) The car is a solid great looking Mercedes and with some buttoning up some loose ends here and there you can have yourself a finished Mercedes 250/8 for a very fair price. California buyers, or if you plan on picking up in California you will be responsible for full price of motor vehicle + tax, title, registration (current or past due, smog (we provide) *if applicable), transfer, DMV and all other fees associated with the sale in California. Out of state or country buyers only pay for the price of the vehicle with no other fees.Title transfer and smog takes up to 10 business days "only" if you are in California.
