Description of 1966 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 250s |
This car belongs to a friend of mine he is giving all the proceeds of this auction to help buy a young girl on my soccer team a plane ticket for a team trip to England this June. This car was purchased in Texas 7-10 years ago and it was stored outside for a couple years then I stored it in my garage for several years. The car sat and had fuel in the tank that went bad. I have had the car running with a remote fuel tank and drove it a short distance the transmission shifted and the engine was in god mechanical order. I had the fuel tank completely rebuilt and sealed and powder coated on the outside for $500. 00 (see pictures) the factory electric fuel pump was replaced with an aftermarket pump and regulator $150. 00. The car is currently not running and needs the carburetors rebuilt. This car would make a good restoration project or a very solid parts car. I am not an expert on Mercedes Benz but will answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. The missing hub cap in the picture is in the trunk |
