This is a very rare 1979 Mercedes Benz SL series, 280SL European version (R107 Body type). This is a European car with all the distinctive European model characteristics including the more elegant and close-to-the-body bumpers, and the single rectangular headlights. Convertible with two tops. Recent overall paint job. However, there are a 3 small bubbles that resurfaced on the trunk lid, hood and panel. Brand new interior (seats, carpets, dash, wood console). The car is mechanically sound. Start, runs and drives. Engine runs and sounds good. The 4-speed transmission shifts good. Brakes and suspension are in good shape. Lights, turn signals, wipers radio heater work. The tires are almost new and wheels are in great shape. The two door are missing the side molding but will be included in the sale. Clear title in NJ. No liens.
