Description of 1979 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

This is a great car it is a European delivery Mercedes SL it still has it's original Euro engine that delivers 220 hp compared to the 180hp of the US versions. This really makes a big difference when driving it is very fas, this is the fastest and best driving 450 SL we have had, it even seems to handle in a more sporty fashion than it's US cousins.
The body is very straight and rust free looks like no major accidents or rust ever. the car has lived in Montana and has a Montana title so it's safe to assume it was only used in the summer months. The paint is presentable apart from a deep scratch behind the passenger door can provide a closeup if needed. The interior is good with a very nice original dash not a cover and very good seats overall the interior is very tidy.
The soft top is excellent and very high quality. The original hardtop is with the car in excellent shape.
