| This is an "EXTREMELY RARE CARE" !! The info that I have read is that they onlymade 8 new ones and only 12 kit cars because Mercedes stopped allowing the kit cars to be made.This car came from an estate and I had a technician go through this from cleaning and undercoatingthe frame all the way to the antenna he spent about 2 mths on getting it ready !!!This has a fiberglass body with a tubular frame along with a 327 Corvette Engine,350 turbo tranny and a 4.6"rear end !!! This Mercedes is the racing version and it's a CONVERTIBLE !!!Only 12 were made by Thoroughbred Coach Builders .The least expensive replicas that I have seen is $69000 and $93000 !!!I don"t want to get rid of this car other than personal reasons and this is "turn key" ready to go !!! |
