Very rare original fuel injected 1962 Mercedes-Benz 220 SEB. I originally had intentions of fully restoring this vehicle, but I just purchased a house which I will be remodeling and sadly won't have the time. I'm told that it is a one owner, California car, with 73,099 original miles (buyer to confirm). There is very minimal rust, and the majority of which is just surface rust from sitting over the years, the original color is grey, the interior is in great condition considering its age, all trim pieces appear to be there other than the bottom rocker panel trim on the driver's side and the two small trim pieces on the front just below the hood, the Mercedes hood emblem is missing, the gas pedal, the intake hose, and the factory stereo. Other than that, everything seems to be there and in tact. There are no cracks in any of the glass, all four tires have 95% tread, but are pretty badly weather cracked, there is a crack in the middle of the exhaust pipe so it sounds rather loud, I've uploaded a video to YouTube with a full walk around and the car running. It starts right up and sounds good other than the exhaust leak, runs through the gears smoothly, but the brakes need attention. Could just need to be bled, but I'm guessing the master cylinder will likely need a rebuild. All I have done mechanically to this car (which was done by an experienced German auto technician) was a fuel injection pump rebuild, flushed the fuel injectors, replaced fuel injection crush washer, new points with condenser, retimed the motor, flushed the fuel lines, cleaned fuel filter, plumbed a separate fuel tank (as the original is still intact, but will probably need cleaning/resealing), wired electric fuel pump, checked brake cylinders, fixed turn signal switch, added clamps to shift linkage, bled clutch master cylinder, cleaned and made the brake vacuum solenoid work on intake, and adjust fuel injection air fuel mixture. I have done nothing else to it other than a quick vacuum and rinse, I haven't attempted to polish anything or begin restoring. Everything you see is 100% original to the best of my knowledge. These cars are truly awesome and very hard to come by. I'm sure I'll regret letting it go later on down the road, but it just doesn't fit into my schedule at the moment. It has been on non op so the only fees owed are $280 plus tax on the selling price (I will try to upload proof of that, I can email it to you upon request). Comes with a clean California title. The car is located in Visalia, Ca and can be picked up or buyer can arrange for transport. I have started the bidding at $1,000 with no reserve. A $500 deposit will be due within 48 hours of the winning bid and full payment must be made within 7 days of the final bid. I have several other pictures I took that I can send you upon request. I didn't realize eBay limited to only 24. I have a link below to my YouTube video of the car as well as some specs for your viewing. Thank you and happy bidding! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5g_1DXhtGmc
