1980 Mercedes Benz W123 Rare Coupe Model Engine Starts and Runs Well Transmission, Driveline, Vacuum Pump Work without issue Interior complete and in fair condition Vehicle Passed Virginia State Inspection 7/2019 Virginia Inspection checks Brakes, Suspension, Lights, Fuel System, Power Steering, Exhaust Passed DC Inspection 8/2019 Previous owner claims engine replaced at 150K, Recent transmission service Recent service includes oil/filter, transmission mount, fuel injector, fuel filters Known Issues include Engine front pulley running power steering and AC broken off, needs repaired before long term use Water pump and cooling system still work and car runs at temperature Rust present around corners, wheel arches, trunk/license plate, windshield Minor paint dings/dents consistent with 40 years of age, haze on rear window Older ACC climate unit inoperable disconnected, bypassed, original unit included Central locking does not work and trunk latches but does not lock (theft damage) All windows and sunroof work but rear windows and sunroof tracks need work Tires show good tread but have dryrot due to age Brakes work with a known leak from rear wheel cylinder Odometer is known to stick and undercount I have attempted to describe this car to the best of my ability. It is a 40 year old vehicle and is sold AS IS. I live in DC but the vehicle is currently being stored in Germantown MD Overall this car can serve as a great donor to a W123 Coupe Restoration - Complete with lots of rare coupe only parts Can be mechanically restored for a low cost driver with minimal effort I have enjoyed this car and it will not be my last W123, but I am facing a need to downsize my project list.
