My 1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300CD turbo diesel coupe is used, to be sure. But with less than 5000 miles per year it has not been abused at all. These W123 chassis are remarkably reliable and durable. Many reaching three, four, five hundred thousand miles or more. While I have owned it, it has been pretty much trouble free, partly because it has been garaged (heated and air conditioned) during my ownership. But mostly because the last owner before me had replaced or repaired most of the major systems. It does have two problems that I know of: 1- the chrome on the alloy wheels is flaking. and 2- the radio needs replaced. That hasn't been done because I never listen to the radio. The sound of the engine is much more to my liking. It got a fresh PA inspection sticker this week, good thru December 2021. I would not hesitate driving it anywhere in the country that you can get diesel fuel. The tires are Cooper CS3 with 85-90% tread remaining. While I've owned her she's been caught outside the garage in the rain a few times, but never driven on wet roads. I am selling because of my health issues. I only hope her new owner loves her as much as I do. HAPPY BIDDING & Merry Christmas!
