This is a two owner car purchased new in Newport Beach California & driven locally all of its life.The car was transferred to me from the original owner who was a very close friend & neighbor when he & his family relocated to Northern California.The car has always been garaged & meticulously maintained throughout its life.It has always been located in California. The car runs great & is very reliable.

The car repainted in 2009 to maintain its pristine appearance.It was done in the original Tobacco Brown color using the original paint materials including all original Glausrit Paint & clear coats.The body is very straight & the car has no rust.The interior is all original & in very nice condition.I have updated the ignition system to a Mercedes breakerless distributor system for reliability & eliminating the need for replacing distributor points as part of normal maintenance.The Air Conditioning Pump was replaced by a cylindrical pump providingless strain on the engine during A/C operation.I was unhappy with the column shift operation & changed the shift to the console shifter used in the later Mercedes models.This was a great improvement over the column shifter & provides for more driving comfort.
