Description of 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series |
You are bidding on a 1990 Mercedes Benz 300SL Roadster. The 300 is powered by Mercedes silky smooth six cylinder engine. Backed by an automatic transmission, the car is nearly as fast as it’s V8 500SL brother but not nearly as thirsty. She is also lighter and handles better.
There are wood accents in the interior, leather on the seats and an average stereo system (this was 1990 after all). The car has high mileage but you wouldn’t know it - we painted the hood last year as there were many paint chips. She looks fine now. The reserve is incredibly low, so someone will win this great looking SL. The interior condition is very good to excellent. The exterior condition is also good to very good. I’ve placed a ridiculous reserve on the car and someone is going to earn this red SL just in time for sunny and warm weather. She starts well and runs fine. A fun car for very little money. Besides, you don’t see many 300SL’s in red. The convertible top works fine and the hardtop is in above average condition.I cannot guarantee the mileage so I'll call it true miles unknown. However this is TMU and the price will reflect it. It's a great Mercedes SL for a very low reserve Due to her age, she is sold as is, where is. There is a $500 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the auction’s end. The balance is due within 72 hours. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer - I also cannot store the car. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged. The time to inspect is BEFORE you bid and win.The car runs fine, she shifts ok, she brakes fine, the automatic convertible top operates well and she comes with a red convertible hardtop, which is automatic. Happy to answer any questions via email. Good Luck |
