Description of 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series SEC

Reallynice original 500 SEC Coupe. This car came from Arizona and is entirely rust free and original with the exception of minor paint work on the right rear quarter due to a scratch. The car has never been in an accident and has a clean carfax.
The car is in its original Champagne exterior paint and the interior is also entirely original and very nice. SinceI had the car, I did a full inspection on it including brakes. Replaced the tires, flushed the coolingsystem and tested everything. All works perfectly. I have driven the car at least 30 miles and the shop guys have road tested it as well.
The exterior is very nice with paint you would expect of a 10 year old car. It has been well maintained but is by no means perfect. The trim and rubber is excellent with no cracking or bleaching. The glass is all original and is also excellent.
The interior is niceas well with originalleather on the seats in great condition..no cracking or tears. The wood is lovelyand all of the controls and instruments look and operates perfectly. The radio has been upgraded and also works perfectly. The door panels are also excellent.
The sunroof opens and shuts effortlessly and all ofthe seat controls and other electronic items work perfectly. The original seat belts are in great shape with no issues either.
The engine bay is clean and original. It is the original engine and transmission and both run strong and shift very smoothly.
The trunk and trunk floor are immaculate. There has never been any rust or accident repair. The undersideis also spotless.
Everything works on the car including windows, A/C, sunroof, radio, cruise control...everything. It's been a well maintained car and behaves as such.
I do have the original owners manual with the car.
The only real 'negative' is the paint which is average. There is no fading or cracks but it shows its age a bit. You can see in the photos and I can send closeups.
I am running this auction with one caveat: I will consider a buy it now offer any time throughout the auction!
