Believe we are 2nd owners, purchased in 1986. Garaged or parked in covered parking, up until a year ago. Believe the paint to be original and had no oxidation present. Last year vehicle was brought to town for service and with Covid, it sat in the sun for approximately 8 months ( we thought it was always garaged in town) and the sun caused oxidation on hood and trunk and parts of front fenders. There are a couple of areas with rust bubbles by front right wheel well and right rear wheel well. (See photos) Sun also cracked the dash in a couple places.Re: Engine, when first purchased, we took it in to a Mercedes shop and owner said we had a significant engine of added value. The 43 designation of VIN number. It had something to do with horsepower…the engine runs a little rough, but starts right up. A/C was working.Convertible top is dark blue and in fair condition. Small hole in side plastic window.Included is a pulley design rack to store hardtop on garage ceiling, with 2 covers that protect the top. Also, the roll around hardtop rack, and 4 extra Mercedes wheels.I have listed all the negatives of the vehicle, but the body is straight and with some investment, can be brought back to its original beauty. It is a Euro model.Vehicle is located in Mt. Charleston, NV. Approximately 30 minutes outside Las Vegas. Transport to buyer is buyers responsibility.Vehicle is sold “as is” with no warranty expressed or implied.
