For sale is a Numbers Matching 1953 Mercury 2dr Base coupe w/ 255 Flathead v8 w/ Merc-O-matic auto trans.NO RESERVE AUCTIONEngine is in good shape and was running last year before the previous owner started to restore it.Engine still moves freely.Engine is 255 flathead v8 original 6v system w/ 2bbl holley teapot carb.Has newer wires/ plus cap/ rotor.Car has all new brake lines in the front and back installed by previous owner. Also comes w/ a new Brake Master Cylinder still in the box.Has good useable tires all the way around w/ no dryrot, racking or hardspots( Front tires were just recently mounted and balanced).All the glass is good w/ the exception of the passenger window.(see pics) all chrome trim is present, ut alot of it is dinged and bent(please see pics)Frame/ suspension and body mounts are solid and in good condition. the trunk pan is in excellent shape as well as the spare tire well( only one hole the size of a quarter in the trunk pan .The floors are solid but do have numerous holes that need patched or pans replaced at buyers discretion.
