You are bidding on a 1972 Mercury Capri MK1...at least that's what the title states. The information on the door sticker states it was MFG on09/1971 and when trying to gets parts...your better off stating its a 1971 for getting parts. I've posted before and after pictures. I'm not done with vehicle yet...it started out as a project car and I'm passing it on as a project vehicle with very little left to do. Engine: was completely rebuilt and yes it is modified. Runs like and speeds away like it has a V8 under the hood PLENTY of POWER. Transmission: We took it down cleaned it up and when through it...4 speed manual transmission. Axle: was checked working good. Rust: no rust however in trunk area while trying to removeold gas tank I stuck my foot through fire wall. damage has been repaired. Body:great lines nodings. Interior: has been redone. Dash: all new Boschgauges, pm, il, uel, emperture, and volate meter. This is an after market dash switches to wipers, heater, are still there justput under the dash we did not create add'l slots for those switches on the dash...but this is what the new buyer can take on. Turning signal must be added we could not find anoriginal but after market can be added. Eletric fuel pump, ew tires and rims, have the moldings...I forgot to take pictures of them there black with white thread finish look good. Again, purchased this vehicle as project car and it's being sold as a project car withvery little more to go. No stereo has been installed. Installed after market racing seats but have the originals done to make cars current interior look. Flow master exhaust system. Any questions 760 868 6025
