This 1973 Mercury Capri Mk-1 starts, uns, hifts and stops. However, t is not a roadworthy vehicle at this time. I purchased this car intending to either restore or use as parts car. This car has many good serviceable parts and body panels, r for the experienced restorer and Capri enthusiast, t could be restored. The ignition key switch is missing but the car can be started using a flat screwdriver to turn the core. At some point someone sprayed black paint all over the car, ence the black doors but I could find no indication of dents, iller or major rust on the doors. The only serious rust is around the rear wheel arches. As far as I could tell the rest of the car is pretty solid. I put brand new tires on the front because the ones that were on the car were completely bad and I needed to be able to move the car around the property occasionally. I tuned itup, plugs, ires, ap, oints, otor) and installed a new electric fuel pump, uel lines and filters and I put a new rebuild kit in the carburetor. I also purged thetank to make sure it hadclean fuel. The rear windows are not broken, ut as typical with these cars have come loose from their mounting. They are included with the car.
