Description of 1967 Mercury Cougar GT

Due to a scam bid and no payment this cougar is up for sale again. thank you to all who viewed and bid before. This is a true 1967 cougar GT 390 s code automatic. It is not a numbers matching car. Ifyou have any questions please ask. I will probably forget to put some things on here as there is a lot.
C6 trans
Trans has been freshly rebuilt has not been ran since rebuilt b&m shift kit 2500-2800 stall converter. Trans cooler. I have reciepts for work done.
Engine is an fe 390 high performance with a 4 barrel. Engine is freshly rebuilt and has not been ran since rebuild. It is bored 30 over with hyper pistons that should be around 10 to 1 compression. It has the bigger hp rods. The block was checked for cracks and the crank was pollished. High volume oil pump. It has the oil trays in the oil pan and under the intake. New edelbrock performer rpm intake, edelbrock 800 cfm carb, Mallory daul point distributor, Accel supper coil.
The heads are not your normal head they are the high performance heads with the 16 exhaust bolt design. Cobra jet or police interceptor They are freshly redone and checked for cracks. They have been port and polished and have 2.09 valves and hardened seats. And factory adjustable rockers This is the biggest valve you can put in these heads. Again thes are the high performance factory heads that have been redone. Even the edelbrock heads the biggest valve you can put in is the 2.09
It has a 2 piece header that wraps around the front suspension for easy installation.
This engine is not in the car and is not assembled. I have everything to assemble it. I was going to have it put together by the dyno shop then tuned and ran on the dyno for max hores power. It does not come with a cam. I talked with survival engines who is the leaders in fe engines and they said with this set up to expect 425 450 horse with a comp 280 h cam. I have reciepts for head and engine work
The 9inch rear end has been gone through with new bearings and seals. 373 gears with true posi not a mini spool. New u joints.
Its has front disc beakes and rear drums. I have new brake pads for it. It has a new master cylinder. The exhaust cuts off at rear end and has a set of flow masters i think. The tires are about 75℅ tread. I have the front bumper but not the brackets. Tail lights and turn signals worked last time i drove it. The head lights work but have to be opened manually. I was going to change it to the electronic ones. It does need carpet as there is not one right now. The floir pans look good dont see any rust there or in the trunk. The interior looks really good. All glass and trim are there. It was a rag top car the engine bay is painted black. There is some bubbles behind the front wheels and by back tires and a little by door. Roof needs some work as it was a rag top it maybe easier to keep it a rag top. Over all car is in a really good shape especially since it is a 67. It does need some work but you have a good start. It does not need a ton of work. I have this listed several other places if you have questions please please ask. car is well worth more then my asking price. The enhine, trans, and rear end have been rebuilt. This is a goid car.I have this listed locally and may end auction early. I may sell to the highest bidder if reserve is not met depending on highest bid
