1964 Mercury Marauder Montclair 2-Door Fastback Hardtop * Original Survivor Same owner for the last 30 years. Two-owner with original paint and original interior. It has been loved its whole life. The second owner was a mechanic who serviced this car from when it was new. The original owner sold it to him in 1986 when it was documented to have 51961 actual miles. It was reported by the Estate to not have been driven much since then. The car is very responsive and accelerates with authority. It has a 390 with an automatic transmission and power steering. The engine has everything a high output 390 should have. It has a set of factory cast iron headers, solid lifters, a 4 bbl carburetor, and the chrome package. The engine looks factory correct, however the VIN does not support a high output 390. This car has been completely inspected and serviced. It has a new water pump, new battery, vacuum advance, and the valves were adjusted. The previous owner converted it to a dual master cylinder for safety reasons. To the best of our knowledge it has original paint and original interior. The paint does have some minor scratches and nicks, as would be expected. The stainless is also in very nice shape. The original interior looks excellent and has held up well over the years with no rips or tears in the upholstery. Everything works except the gas gauge. The spare appears to have never been taken out. The bottom of this car reflects the outside. It’s solid and appears to be rust-free. Options include: Radio rear seat speaker, power steering, flipper hubcaps. Includes owner’s manual. Purchased from an estate. Clear Wisconsin title. Odometer reads: 55882 Mileage on odometer was documented in 1986 to be 51961 actual miles. Please see below for more detailed pictures. Sold as is.
