1968 Mercury Montclair 2-Door Fastback 390 Automatic Great Project Car

You are looking at a 1968 Mercury Montclair Fastback project car. 390, utomatic with ac, ower steering, ront disc brakes, ower windows, nd power seat. As you can see in the pictures the car does have some minimal rust. A little in the left quarter behind the wheel, ome in the right quarter in front of the wheel, bove the windshield, nd in the trunk, ll of which is easily repaired. The rest of the car, ncluding the floor boards appear to be solid. The interior is not too bad either. Seats are nice, arpet is good, nd the dash is complete. The dash pad however has seen better days and will need to be recovered or replaced.I took this car in on trade for a 1968 Mercury Monterey Fastback I did a Restomod on last year. I included a picture of it for reference and inspiration only! The previous owner of the 68 up for auction drove the car home, ulled it in his shop, emoved the cylinder heads, hich are in the trunk, nd removed and discarded the gas tank. That was 10 years ago and that's as far as he got! The car is a southern car and has been all its life. Inside for the last 10.

I have set a low reserve for this car; the last one was fun but I do not want to build another one.
