This is a custom designed daily driver replica of the #21 Wood Bros Mercury NASCAR (Legal Street Version), but an original Mercury Montego. Nascar legend, David Pearson drove the #21 Mercury Montego in the mid 1970's to compete against Chrysler during the golden age of NASCAR and went on to defeat Richard Petty in the memorable Daytona 500. Painted by Rolls Royce Certified Painter, Michael Brogel. The car 2 coats of clear and base paint in the two tone paint scheme of #21 David Pearson. New brakes all around *Heads were cleaned in 2017 *4 New tires, new battery and battery wires *New fuel sending unit *Fully rebuilt original Motorcraft carburator on 12/28/17 by the Carburator Exchange. *All lights and horn works as it should *No transmission or power steering leaks *New starter solinoid *New windshield wipers *Original brown dash with no cracks of any type *Original classic car blue license plates--REGISTERED AND INSURED IN CALIFORNIA UNTIL 8/2018 *The car could use headliner *New front and rear shocks installed in 2017 Interior: Originally was brown and then both front and rear bench seats were professionally painted black. No holes or rips anywhere on the original bench seats. All windows are original and are in good condition. Window handles work as they should. Please email with any questions. They are 15inch rims and will need center caps. Not original to the car, but show well. |
