If you think that the Listing Title is a misprint, think again. In a year when there were no domestic convertibles, Mercury authorized AHA Manufacturing to produce about 500 of these converted hatchbacks. This car has been in the family since new.
Car has recently had 5.0 liter engine rebuilt as well as new front disc brakes, brake lines, wheels and tires. Needs new top, interior and paint. Yes, it is a "project". But, if you are looking for a bit of history (first of the modern era Detroit convertibles) as well as a fun car to drive (5.0 liter engine in a Capri-sized car) this is the car for you.
