Description of 1966 MG Midget MK II

Extremely nice example of a 1966 MG Midget MKII. All original except for the aftermarket radio and speakers (which can easily be removed). This car sports new wire knock off wheels on excellent 13 inch tires. Front disc brakes with single exhaust. Detailed engine compartment. This MKII edition has the correct removable soft top (convertible) along with the factory hard top and tonneau cover. All in superior shape. It sports the original 1096CC four cylinder engine with two side draft carburetors, speed transmission and rear axle. Factory tach and gauges. Includes original jack and lead hammer for the knock-off wheels along with the spare mounted on a wire wheel rim. The red paint is in excellent condition with only some very minor chips and a small dent on the right rear 1/4 panel. All covers are superior. The interior is also excellent with some very minor defects. The car runs and drive great. Stops on a dime. Recent tune-up. Does run a little rough when cold but picks up on performance when up to temp. Otherwise mechanically sound. No rust holes or damage anywhere other then what is mentioned. Under side of car, loors and trunk are great. Includes car cover. Titled in Pennsylvania as an antique. Real head turner. Very road worthy. Drive it home. SeeQuestions please ask before bidding.
