Description of 1961 MG MGA roadster/convertible |
WellI'msure no expert on MGA 'S, but a friend of mine has had this 1961 roadster stored away in his garage for the last 20 years or so. Hehadbigplansfor his retirement, to do a restorationprojectwith this car, but things changed, and it came to me. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it.Here is what I can tell you about the car, and ashonestlyas I know it...The car isdefinatley a project car, and just as I recieved it.It is veryrestoreable, as the body and chassis are in very good shape overall for being 55 years old.Over a 20 year period, thepreviousowner just kept buying new stuff with the plans to restore it.This car is full to the max with lots of N.O.S. parts. Some which are...new wood floorboards, convertibletopnew grillsteering wheelrockers and misc. patch panels, door panelsseat covers interior kits etc.(there are boxes and boxes of stuff. I don't even know where it allgoes?).It is all from MOSS INC.The frame, trunk, andenginecompartment are all excellent. I havetriedto take detailed photos of the car, as well as all the parts andpieces.Hopefully the photos will give you an idea of its overall condition. The engine and Transmission are installed, and all the other stuff is neatly stacked inside the car and trunk so it can all be shipped easily. This roaster is 55 years old and being sold as-is. My opening bid is 2,500 with no reserve.I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the bestthanbedisappointedin any way. Now... all this having been said... I can't imagine finding a better 1961 MGA Roaster project like this, with lots of N.O.S. parts for the price. It's sure not perfect but I think that whom ever ends up with it will be very pleased with all that's here.I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way. I am honest and dependable, and the winning bidder can count on my help for an easy and smooth transaction...Thanks.Terms of sale... I can not ship.....
