Description of 1953 MG T-Series

I purchased this car in 1967 after it had sat for a few years from the previous owner and over the course of 2-3 years. my father and I restored the car enough to be a daily driver. I drive it about 4-5 years and then I got married and the car was stored in my fathers repair shop for 20 years. He died in 1988 and I moved the car to my new home where I had built a small barn to store it in until I retired and I could put it back on the road. I retired early on a medical disability and now have no time to work on it so it needs to go. I started the car about 6-7 years ago. The fuel pump was corroded from old gas so I used ether in the carbs and it fired right up. so the engine is not stuck. It drove well when I ran the car. It would make a good restoration project for a father and son team or as an investment to have the car professionally restored with enough money. The body is solid as it was when I first got the car and now being stored inside for 40+ years old is still nice and rust free. Paint can use a good cleaning and buffing and with some freshening up the interior it would be a nice daily driver or weekend driver. Car will need to be trailered or towed and delivered to the buyers location. With a small amount of freshening up the brakes and such it will be a driver. Car is in eastern Pa. about 50 miles west of Philadelphia. Pa. If you need more PICS or have questions. please ask me.
