Very complete 1960 MGA 1600 ran. drove. stopped. prior to dry Texas storage 4 years ago. Purchased from a retired English car mechanic who said he had rebuilt the engine. number is 16GA U 9198. It appears to have been out of the car judging by paint on oil pan etc. but has not been verified. Rust is minimal and easily repaired with patch panels. frame is solid. Speedo shows 50. 00 miles and it appears to be accurate judging by the overall condition of the car. Trunk floor is solid as well as other typical rust areas. Great example to restore at a fraction of current prices on restored cars. Most of these restorable MGA's are being purchased and shipped overseas. the scarcity of available cars in any condition will only make them increase in value.
