Description of 1954 MG T-Series |
For sale a very nice MG TD this car had a "nut and bolt" from the "ground up" restoration a few years ago. The car has been shown on a regular basis ever since. Very nice paintwork. engine and transmission in perfect working order. new battery. good tires. Everything works as it should. This MG TD is equipped with the proper and original 4-cylinder engine and 4 Speed Manual Transmission. Primrose yellow Exterior with Tan Top and Tan Interior. Very accurately restored with excellent under hood detail. This is the nicest little MG. amazing undamaged and never rusted body. floors. or sub frame. Excellent chrome. stainless. and trim. Everything on this car is either new or period-correct. or has been rebuilt. Painted in MG Yellow with a tan leather interior. this car looks and drives as if it were new. It has been driven just a few thousand miles since the restoration. This car is complete with a stainless steel exhaust system. and has recently had all the fluids changed and a complete service and safety check. This MG TD is ready to drive or show! MG's success in the United States after World War II was due in large part to returning GIs who. love-struck by the notion of nimble European sports cars. brought home with them the TC Roadster. The MG TD for 1950 became even more popular than its predecessor. Alongside traditional MG styling. it featured an all-new independent front suspension and rack and pinion steering. I have the car listed locally in Phoenix Arizona. so I may end the sale early. Please call me or send an e-mail if you want to talk about the car. I'd love it to go to a good home. it's a great car! One final note: I realize that the car was probably built in 1953. but it was first registered in 1954 and so that is what was put on the Arizona title 61 years ago. it's a bit late to get that changed now! Take a good look at the pictures. I didn't clean the car up before they were taken. no expensive detail job. This is exactly what the car looks like. I know you'll LOVE it! |
