GR Auto Gallery is thrilled to offer this magnificent 1948 MG TC Roadster for world consideration. A 10 year, highly detailed and masterfully executed, frame off, nut and bolt restoration to original specifications was performed on this MG. Since, the car has been enjoyed as the centerpiece of a private room and driven just over 800 miles. The car is finished in its original color, MG Red exterior paint with factory correct Light Aircraft Grey Bulkhead, over biscuit interior with... coordinating cloth soft top and side curtains. According to the owner, the car is powered by its original, completely rebuilt / restored 1250cc inline four cylinder engine, 4-speed manual transmission with reverse gear, and rear wheel drive. Highlights include signature 19 inch 48 spoke knock wheels with matching spare, chrome stand up grille surround, chrome independent headlights, banjo steering wheel, restored original Jaeger, wood dash fascia, driver mounted tachometer with clock, etc. All parts for this restoration are original to the car or NOS. The exterior paint is near flawless, the interior is outstanding in every way, under the hood is insanely detailed and the frame an underside are meticulous. Mechanically, the car starts, runs and drives with no issue. The MG TC's are by far the most elegant of the "T" cars by far. The classic lines of the vehicle exemplify British styling of that day. The car here has been restored to a "better than new" condition and is ready for immediate open air cruising or to compete and any Concours event. All aspects of the restoration has been painstakingly documented and organized into two binders. The car also comes with the owners handbook, and like any good British, it comes with a box of assorted small parts and spares.
