Car just turned 66,000 original miles, I bought it when it had right at 64,000 just a few months ago. For some reason, out of the blue, car decided to spin a bearing sitting idle at a stop light, which is making a rod knock. Local Nissan dealership hardly found any metal fragments in the oil, so it could possibly be a cheap fix instead of full engine rebuild or replacement. Car has never been wrecked, I have the CarFax report from when I bought it from the dealership. Car is now just over 30 days outside the warranty the dealership offered. I have not raced the car, nor driven it rough. New clutch has 100 miles left on the 500 mile break-in period. Here is a list of the things replaced, the Nissan dealership here in Columbia can verify and I have receipts for most of the work. 61, 333 miles- Changed at purchase dealership OEM Parts Timing Belt & Tensioners All Drive Belts Water Pump Thermostat 65,000 miles- Most work done by Nissan (*things I installed myself) *New Interstate Battery Tranny, Rear Diff, Transfer Case- all with Redline fluid Coolant (with Redline Water Wetter additive), Clutch, Brake Fluid Flush x2 Oil Changes with 10w-30 Royal Purple with Royal Purple Oil Filter All Four OEM Struts, Boots, Bumpers All Four Drilled/Slotted Rotors with new ceramic pads *3SX Cold Air Intake Box with K&N Filter PCV Valve New Valve Cover Gaskets New Throttle Body Gaskets 3SX Rear Camber Adjustment Kit TEIN Lowering Springs (lowered car just over an inch, not shown in pictures) Stage 2 Spec Clutch Fuel Filter NGK Plugs and Magnecor Performance Plug Wires 4 Wheel Alignment Rear Main Seal Both Carrier Bearings on the Drive Shaft Lots of other small fixes 65,000 miles- All work done myself Custom Black Floor Mats with Logo 3SX Short Throw Shifter with Front and rear stabilizer bushings OEM Leather Shifter Boot Rear Speakers Replaced with 6x9 Memphis Speakers (15-MCX692, $200 speakers) Front Speakers are aftermarket and were replaced before I got the car Kenwood CD Player (will be replaced with an Alpine if I sell the car) 65,000 miles- Sound Performance shop CTX Ceramic Llumar Window Tint (Rear & Sides) Autopage RF-425 Keyless Entry/Alarm with two remotes Performance Mods: HKS Turbo Timer HKS Electronic Boost Controller Front Pre-Cats have been gutted to allow for more airflow, stock rear cat is still in place Tires are still in really good shape with plenty of tread left. These cars are known to have the capacitors go bad on the ECU's. The ECU has been checked and all capacitors have been replaced (none were found leaking but had it done anyway). I also have an extra working ECU and extra MAF that will go with the car as these are getting hard to find anymore. Everything on the car works, factory Aero, Active Exhaust, Active Suspension, speakers, lumbar adjustment on the driver's seat, illumination bulbs, power antenna. There are a couple of internal cosmetic things such as the driver's seat and defroster grills (I have replacement grills but have not installed them yet).
