Description of 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 |
To get this out of the way real quick, what I'm listing here is a project car. While it has a ton of goodies and is almost set to go but it will need a bit of work to get going again. The biggest is having the axle/bearing repaired and then having the car tuned (I put in new stock turbos so the engine will eventually flood with gas if you try driving it around). While I love this car to death(its pretty much my dream car), I unfortunately don't have the money or time now to keep up with the maintenance and am looking to basically pass it off to another person(don't part out the car I could have done this for more $$ than I'm listing it for). Anyways, on to the specifics. This car, while the paint is starting to chip off from wear and tear a bit(its a 1991) has nearly ZERO RUST. There are very very small amounts of it but nothing is rusted through and the body is in overall very good condition. As for the interior, it is in great condition as well with new leather seats, a 3 point harness in both the driver and passenger seat. Carpet that is just a little over a year old and a lot of the panels have been replaced. Also the original climate control system does work and display properly. One thing to note is that the back seat has been removed and replaced with a bar for suspension and also for the 3 point harness(so just you and your hot date or bromigo/a) Mostly Everything in the car is aftermarket now so I will try to list it here: -AEM Air/Fuel Gauge-AEM Boost/Pyrometer/Oil Gauges-Apexi AFC Neo(Fuel Tuner)-GReddy PRoFec B Spec 2(Boost Controller)-FATT DC Full Auto Turbo Timer BLTZ-Kicker AMP CXA600.1 (Dual Channel 1200W Max)-Kicker 10in Sub with housing-Kenwood KDC-15BU-all of the wiring and parts that makes the above work all installed(including in engine bay) More Mechanical Parts: -Pretty much every pipe and tube has been replaced with a more thermo efficient /durable version(see pics)-RC Racing Injectors not sure the CC but its way above stock-Marshall fuel pressure gauge(in engine)-Direct Methanol injection-Koyo Aluminum Radiator-Short throw shifter-GReddy Blow Off Valve Type S-Lots of Hurricane brand parts for things like power steering/coolant-Custom exhaust(it doesn't sound like rice despite being quite large)-Slotted Rotors-NRG Racing Wheel and assembly(shaft)-and lots more but I don't have time to take the entire engine apart to get everything lol New Parts: -Stock turbos(brand new) you can put bigger ones in no problem with the mods the car has. There were 14G turbos in here before but one of the seals broke and destroyed the core.-AC Compressor(refurbished)-Front Wheel Hub Assembly(both sides)-Valve cover and gaskets Freebies: -Stock Steering wheel/shaft/airbag-HID Red Ring Headlights(they look awesome but you will need a converter)-One extra light with motor -Important Replaced Parts:While the car has 190k original miles, the engine and trans were swapped out with a 92 and have approximately 85k each. While I don't have the paper work for this as it was done by a previous owner, you can definitely tell as a lot of parts were replaced with a 92. Things to mention: -There are a few other things that need to mention, the biggest being that the driver side door tumbler is broken. It still locks and unlocks just fine from the inside but I haven't been able to find someone to actually fix it. -Also to mention that while the lights work, the car has had the snake-eye modification aka if you turn the lights on the motors wont move so you can keep the lights down and have a snake eye look. The motors still work fine but if you want the lights to go up and down you will have to rewire it unless you want to manually put them up every time. -Unless you are really good at fixing axles/bearings and tuning a car on the spot you will need to have it towed away on a FLATBED DO NOT JUST HIRE A NORMAL TOW TRUCK. If you tow it on anything other than a flatbed you will destroy the trans because it is all wheel drive. -Paypal doesn't allow refunds for deposits on vehicles, so even if you cancel the purchase it won't be sent back. So please do not bid or deposit if you do not intend on actually getting the car. -I'm not shipping this :p You have to come pick it up. I will send you the exact location and we can setup a time to meet so I can give you the keys and sign the paperwork -I have the clean title in hand so no need to worry about that. -I'm sure there are other things here and there that can be improved or fixed up but I've listed what I know. On Sep-05-17 at 05:56:12 PDT, seller added the following information: -Another quick note is that the spoiler which normally has active aero was replaced with an SL spoiler. Normally the active aero is the first thing to fail in the car so that is why it was replaced. The wiring is still there as you can see by the button on the console but the spoiler is not the one that came with the car(although the SL spoiler actually creates less drag making it faster in the 1/4 mile) |
