For sale is a VERY RARE Thrifty-hauler Nash two truck from Cortez, Colorado and has been stored in a heated pull barn since 2004. Four Corners Auto Parts and Salvage purchased this truck from Frontier Motors in Durango, CO. in 1958. The seat has been recovered from a professional to make it look original to the truck. It has avery nice Holmes wrecker body. Before I owned it, someone had tried taking the bed off, controls and stiff leg, but I dohave all the controls and the stiff leg. It never came with a sling but does come with anaxle lift on the back. I added new Firestone tires with 95% rubber still on them. This truck runs, but has been sitting since 2014. I have taken this truck to many shows and has been a show stopper. My daughter had fun making it look like Tow Mater from the movies Cars by adding eyes and teeth to it and the kids love taking pictures with this truck. It has ZERO rust holes, but does have surface rust from sitting in Colorado climate. I have always hauled it to showssince I have neverlicensed or plate it.I had always planned on restoringthis awesome truck but have other projects that need to be done and I have lost interest. There were 5,000 of these trucks made andapproximately 445 stayed in the United States and only Nash dealerships hadthem. I believe there are about 30 left in the United States. There is a required $500 non-refundabledeposit and payment.I will charge a $20 a day storage fee after 3 weeks after day of sale, unlessotherwise agreed on.
